came out all the way back in 2018, so you can't be blamed if you'd already explored everything the single player has to offer, despite it being one of the most detailed games of all time.
With Rockstar's efforts almost entirely focused on getting into players' hands in time for its current release date in November, the best way to experience new content within the Red Dead Redemption universe is via Red Dead Online.
The developer has been quite diligent about supporting the online modes included in the game, and the latest event has just gone live, offering players the chance to pick up increased amounts of currency as well as some unique items along the way.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Back With New Online Content
players can currently get involved in a new event centered around Trader Sales. Over on the Rockstar , they broke down exactly what players can expect, saying, "These are boomtimes for fearless entrepreneurs willing to do what it takes to obtain animal carcasses and pelts across the wilderness and swamps of the frontier. Earn 3X RDO$, XP, and Role XP on all Trader Sales, plus garner additional bonuses."
Outside of that, if you manage to complete five Trader Sales while the event is live, then you can earn the Fortune Buckle for your character, while completing all the Trader Daily Challenges will reward players with the Tennessee Walker Camp Flag. Lastly, Prominent Traders who reach Rank 20 will receive the Burdall Hat.
The fun doesn't stop there though, with 3X RDO$, Gold, and XP on Call to Arms missions available throughout, while reaching Wave 4 in any Call to Arms missions during the month of April will reward you with the Larkin Gloves.

If you're a fan of fishing, that has also come in for a big boost this month, with 5X RDO$ for all Fish Sales to the Butcher, and 5X RDO$ and XP through May 4 for taking part in the Fishing Challenge Free Roam Event.
Will This Keep You Busy Till GTA 6?
Now, whilst it obviously isn't a replacement for GTA VI in any way, shape or form, there's a lot of fun to be had in the online experience if you're a fan of Rockstar's Western epic. With Red Dead Redemption 3 not likely to arrive for a decade or so, if it ever arrives at all, this could be the only way to live out your cowboy fantasies moving forward.
