What's been a solid year for PS Plus looks like it'll continue once May's Essential games arrive next week. However, that comes with a downside because it also means multiple games will be leaving PS Plus soon.

As a subscription service, PlayStation Plus is always adding and removing games. Still, it's nice to get a heads-up before games leave, especially if they're on the Essential tier, because you can add them to your libraries and keep playing as long as your membership is still active. According to the official , three games are leaving PS Plus on May 4 — in about 24 hours from right now.

The three games leaving PlayStation Plus Essential on May 4, 2026, are:

  • Lords of the Fallen
  • Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream
  • Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

If you want to continue playing these games, be sure to add them to your library before the expiration date. After that, as long as you have a PS Plus subscription, you'll be able to keep playing them. While they're leaving the Essential tier for good, it's also possible that they'll show up on Extra or Premium later on, so this may not be goodbye forever.

Remember, these games arrive on May 5, but that means the current slate of PlayStation Plus games on the Essential plan are being removed in around 24 hours from right now.
