Over on Twitter/X, the user ShadowZelda99 a post detailing how they had been playing through Zelda Indigo: Chapter 2. The game is actually a that takes place 27 years after the events of Majora's Mask, with players stepping into the role of the Hero of Time.

As the name suggests, this is actually the second part that has been released so far, and if you do decide to jump in and give it a go, you can expect a bunch of improvements to the usual game, including faster movement speed, refined mechanics, and new animations, as well as new maps, enemies, bosses, and items.

The responses to the original post were filled with those either singing the mod's praises, or vowing to give it a try before too long. "I've been very tempted to play this one, but kinda want to wait until it's finished... if it ever will be? Sadly, a lot of these amazing fan projects never reach the finish line," one comment .

"It's a good hack, but they should have created an entirely new design that resembles the original Hero of Time instead of using a low-poly model of the Hero of Twilight," another .
