May the fourth be with you, fans. Yep, Star Wars day is fast approaching, and there's lots to be excited about. is our next big movie, of course, and the excellent is going from strength to strength. But I want to focus on some of the new Star Wars video games you can play right now, especially because they're all completely free.

At the time of writing, there are three brand-new Star Wars games you can get your hands on. Each of them are markedly different, and each one will cost you precisely nothing at all.

If you've been playing Fortnite recently, you'll know that the game's Unreal Editor is capable of some pretty amazing things. Players have been building their own games, including open-world RPGs and other unofficial Star Wars games.

"Starting May 1, hundreds of these islands will go live and Fortnite will be the only place where you can come together with friends to race tauntauns through icy tracks, run a bustling cantina on Tatooine, pilot a T-65B X-wing starfighter, and go on imaginative Star Wars adventures," Epic writes.

But with May 4 approaching, Epic has officially released three official Star Wars experiences within the free-to-play Fortnite, and each one is a standalone game in its own right. Let's take a look.

Star Wars in Fortnite

Galactic Siege

If you're wondering where Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is, there's a strong chance Galactic Siege will scratch your itch. This one was created by JOGO Studios, and is a 10v10 class-based battle between the Rebels and the Empire. You'll get to play across various iconic Star Wars locations with a host of familiar characters. It really is Battlefront lite.

Escape Vader

Now, this one is very cool. If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a completely normal person in the Star Wars universe who comes across Darth Vader on a bad day, this is the game for you. Developed by Beyond Creative, this one is a first-person four-player horror game in which you have to do your best to escape the Sith Lord. Incredible.

Droid Tycoon

Created by FOAD, Droid Tycoon lets you build your own Star Wars droid using blueprints, then manage your workshop while taking on missions and earning rewards.

All three of these games are available to play in Fortnite right now. To do so, all you have to do is launch the game, hit the play button in the top left, navigate to the search bar, and enter one of three codes above. It's definitely a great time to be a Star Wars fan, and don't forget that other fans will be releasing their own games over the next few days, so make sure to see what else is out there.
