Sebastain Stan's next superhero movie is finally taking shape.

Stan's character transformation has officially begun in a new tease about his arrival in the Robert Pattinson-led universe. is currently under wraps, though some new cast members have been revealed. This includes Stan, who will be portraying Harvey Dent, expected to be the core villain of the upcoming installment. In addition, Scarlett Johansson will be portraying his wife, Gilda, while Charles Dance will play his father, Charles. Filming for the upcoming sequel is set to begin in June 2026, eyeing an October 1, 2027 release date.

Now, in an Instagram video from , Stan can be seen drinking a protein drink as he prepares to train for his role in The Batman: Part II. The promotional video shows him making a Rise protein shake ahead of the start of his training, which will see him prepare for the role of Harvey Dent ahead of filming. This has allowed villains like the Penguin to gain more control in the criminal underworld, while opening the door for other villains to rise to the top as well.

Based on the casting of the Dent family, it appears the film's focus will be on Harvey's transformation from Gotham's District Attorney to a criminal overlord with a dual personality, known as Two-Face. Although the plot itself has yet to be unveiled, Reeves has been working on the script for many years: the movie was announced in April 2026, while the script was finished in June 2026.
