The Creed spinoff Delphi is about to enter the ring.
In May 2026, it was announced that Delphi had received a series order from Prime Video. It is executive produced by Jordan and Marco Ramirez, with the latter serving as showrunner, and a story focused on young boxers training at Los Angeles' Delphi gym from the . Adonis Creed (Jordan) trains there, just as his father Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) did, and the facility is now run by Tony "Little Duke" Evers (Wood Harris).
A year after the series order announcement, Jordan shared during Amazon's upfront presentation that Delphi will begin filming in Los Angeles on May 18. Ramirez was also brought onto the stage as part of the announcement. The series is being produced by Jordan's production company Outlier Society, and the event was also used to provide updates on their other projects, including a first look at the Muhammad Ali biopic series The Greatest and that the heavily-anticipated Fourth Wing show had received a series order.
Confirmation of Delphi's production start comes three years after the release of Creed III. While there have been , it is something that Jordan has said he "eventually" wants to do, and he wants to "give it a little time to breathe, make people want it, miss it a little bit." While there is still uncertainty about whether the movie sequel will happen, the television spinoff that is about to begin filming is the franchise's imminent future.
Given the premise, Creed will not be at the center of Delphi, as it is centered on the new young boxers and Little Duke at the eponymous gym. That being said, due to the already confirmed connections to the movies and with Jordan being an executive producer, an appearance from Creed does seem inevitable, even if it is only in an episode or two. Perhaps he could even take on somewhat of a mentor role as Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) did in the spinoff movies.
With filming starting on May 18, the earliest release window for Delphi is likely in 2027. Before then, another movie connected to the long-running sports franchise is coming out, with I Play Rocky scheduled to debut in theaters this Thanksgiving, with a wide release on November 20. It is about the behind-the-scenes story of the making of the original 1976 Rocky movie, featuring Anthony Ippolito as Stallone, Stephan James Weathers, Kiki Seto as Talia Shire, Scot Teller as Burt Young, Jay Duplass as director John G. Avildsen, and Matt Dillon and AnnaSophia Rob respectively playing Stallone's parents.
In addition to Delphi, Fourth Wing, and The Greatest, Jordan's upcoming projects as an actor or producer include Miami Vice '85, The Thomas Crown Affair, I Am Legend 2, and Rainbox Six. Earlier this year, he won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Ryan Coogler's 2026 . Jordan's newest movie, Swapped, has also been a major streaming success, as it had Netflix's biggest opening for an animated movie since Adam Sandler's Leo in 2026.
