Fully stopping Mamushi in his tracks, Inojin calls to Daemon, using Mamushi's collective mind to target Daemon's eyes, thus causing this killer intent to obliterate all of them. The threat was completely annihilated, with only Mamushi's Thorn Soul Bulb remaining, and while Inojin's eyes were also injured in the process, Himawari was able to heal him much like she did Sarada.
It was a thrilling end to a chaotic arc, but the most enticing glimpse was what came next: behind the Claw Grime's tree where Bug is currently trapped, a curious Claw Mark appears, with what appears to be . As Boruto likely intends to take the Thorn Soul Bulb to awaken Bug, just as he shakes off a suspicious Kawaki, this could lead to brand-new confrontations in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. It could even present a new opportunity for Code's Claw Grimes to ambush the heroes, and even capture new targets, making this next chapter a potential turning point going into the newest arc.
