Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Just Confirmed Angela del Toro Is The New White Tiger

Angela del Toro, as played by Camila Rodriguez, has made her official debut as the White Tiger in Daredevil: Born Again, season 2, episode 3. Her transformation into this character was previously heavily hinted at when she met with Kirsten McDuffie, Matt Murdock's law partner, and retrieved her uncle's personal belongings, but episode 3 sees her join the fight against the tyranny of Mayor Fisk and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF).
Though she hasn't fully suited up with a White Tiger outfit and mask, she is wearing some white tiger print clothing and the White Tiger amulet, which was what granted her uncle, Hector Ayala, special powers. While she has yet to put these powers on display in a big way, her hero debut is no dimmer, as she is instrumental in helping Daredevil and Karen Page break the illegally held prisoners out of Red Hook and drive them to safety.

In season 1, it was heavily speculated that Angela was bound to become the White Tiger, and the rumors about when and how this would play out were only further enhanced by the fact that Hector was brutally killed. Now, with her uncle's death motivating her to stand up for what's right, and having witnessed the cruelty of the AVTF first hand while out with her aunt, Angela is ready to embrace life as a vigilante.
However, she is still incredibly young, and despite coming to help out Daredevil, she does not know what life as a vigilante is like. She has yet to find out that Daredevil is, in fact, the blind lawyer who represented her uncle, and her decision to wear the amulet appears to be a fairly hasty one.
Despite this, Angela appears to be very bright and capable, and her origin story has already been seen across .
The White Tiger Has A Bright Future Among The MCU's Street Level Heroes
The MCU is in an interesting place at this moment in time, with Avengers: Doomsday around the corner, set to soft-reboot the universe. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock and other street-level heroes appear to be getting a chance to shine, with Daredevil: Born Again setting a trend for the MCU to have multiple seasons depicting one character.
There is also a number of characters due to return from previous multi-season shows in this season of Daredevil: Born Again, who could have their stories expanded, and other shows like Wonder Man, who have recently been confirmed to get another season.

While the larger Multiverse narrative appears to be mounting to a spectacular finale, there are still important stories focused on street-level superheroes, or even the new kids on the block in the Young Avengers, all of which could be a great fit for Angela's MCU story to be explored.
Hopefully, this story is just beginning, and Angela del Toro will be seen a lot more .
